Every Saturday morning you are welcome to join us for the Best breakfast in Johannesburg.
Sit down and enjoy spending time with parishioners, family and friends. Take time out of that busy schedule and treat yourself!

A full English/ Omelet/ French toast or scrambled egg breakfast is to order for ONLY R30!
Everything made just the way you'd prefer it.

But wait, there's more:
You get different kinds of cereals, coffee, tea and juice.There are delicious baked goods and they are made fresh every morning.

Don't be shy, bring your friends and family and be part of the great atmosphere at St Peter's on a Saturday.There is so much happening and you'll never be left wanting.

Outreach

The outreach programme with the Children of fire is well rooted in St Peters, mission statement. This is evidenced by  an increase in the number of parishioners volunteering to celebrate life with these young stars, in the form of a meal provided by St Peter once a month. To share a mean, and a treat with them is an honour. The bright eye'd children love to be in a space where they are loved and cared for. We have been richly rewarded for our efforts by the increasing integration of these children in our community. It has also been made that much  easier by our priest, Rev Jacqui Williams, who has immersed her energies into the programme.

Parish Breakfast

 When most people had returned to Johannesburg from their holidays at the end of January, a parish breakfast was held in the garden. Generously provided by members of the congregation, and bacon and eggs cooked at the eleventh hour by Vic Gaul, it was a delicious chance to relax in beautiful weather and spend some social time together.

Institution of our new Rector

On Sunday 3 November 2013 the Revd Jacqueline Williams was instituted as the new Rector of St Peter's Parish, Auckland Park by the Rt Revd Steve Moreo, Bishop of Johannesburg. Friends and family of our new rector, congregants of St Peter's, other diocesan members and members of the community gathered to witness and celebrate the happy occasion.

After the beautiful ceremony, which was interspersed with verses of the hymn 'We love the place, O God, Wherein thine honour dwells' the congregation gathered for an abundant tea catered for by the Townsend family.
We warmly welcome Jacque to our church family and look forward to many fulfilling years together.

Update 2013

Our previous Rector  Revd. Dr. Vicentia Kgabe left St. Peters Church for Weltevreden Park end of January 2013. We wish her a fruitful Ministry.

Our interim Priest Revd. Trevor Slade was with us until the end of October 2013.

Annual Fundraising Golf Day

St Peter's is planning its annual Golf Day for the 28th October 2012 at Observatory Golf Club, Steyn St, Johannesburg. This year it is focussed specially on raising funds for our youth - the future of our church and Christian life. We have a growing, vibrant group of children, teenagers and young adults, and the need to support their activities and projects, and nurture their enthusiasm is becoming a priority.
Funding is also needed for renovation of the church building, and replacing song books.

You or your organisation can help by

• Publicising and finding golfers to participate in the day
